I've known Manny for years, and I vividly remember when he was searching for athletes to kickstart his program in Indianapolis. Over time, I've followed his journey, and he has done an incredible job. I've trained with him on and off as my schedule permitted, and the results have always been remarkable. Manny's personality and his ability to connect with athletes of all ages are truly amazing. He brings boundless energy no matter the time, whether it's 6 AM or 6 PM, and he's always smiling, being silly, and pushing you to be your best. I recently resumed training with him over the holidays, and I could see and feel the impact of our work during my most recent USTA league match. I'm excited to continue training with Manny and achieving great things in my USTA matches this year.

Manny has a unique ability to connect with both kids and adults, providing a comfortable environment from the start. What sets BASEC apart is the exceptional teaching method—every drill and lesson is designed to improve technique, but also to build confidence and a true love for the game. The energy and enthusiasm Manny brings to every session keeps the kids coming back and it’s clear he is deeply invested in his students’ success.

My daughter started with Manny and Midwest Tennis Performance a year ago. Manny did a thorough initial evaluation of her footwork and technique. He not only has improved her agility and footwork over the past year. He also has taught her discipline and nutrition. His classes are a wonderful complement to her routine tennis lessons.

My boys started working with Manny and the BASEC team a little over a year ago. Manny pushes them to work hard accepts nothing less than their best and they absolutely love it. There are no shortcuts to becoming a good tennis player but learning proper technique for movement and placing an emphasis on fitness might be as close as you can get.

My son started working with Manny Edwards and Midwest Tennis performance and within months he saw a significant improvement in his tennis footwork and fitness. This quickly translated to more winning on the court. What he has provided to my son has been a real complement to the technical instruction my son has received from his tennis coaches. Manny takes a personal interest in all the players he trains. He even attends local tournaments to watch and make notes on what the players he trains are doing right and wrong to help with their development. Manny himself is very approachable easy to work with and will design a program that is specific for each player he trains. Between lessons tournaments travel equipment , the cost to play competitive tennis adds up but the money spent for training at Midwest is well worth it !!!
